Week 8- December 2, 2009
We are 8 weeks, two months into this pregnancy. So far it is going by fast! Knock on wood!! I feel great and really do not feel like I am pregnant. Is there something wrong with me? I ask that question every day. Since this whole experience is so new to me I have no idea if the changes/non-changes I am experiencing are right? I was telling Jim that I wish I had an ultrasound machine at our house so I can check up on the baby anytime I want. I know wishful thinking! I guess I will have to just trust the doctor and believe that everything is all right!
This week was a milestone in our pregnancy because we finally got confirmation on December 1st that our due date is: July 14, 2010. Since my cycles are so inconsistent the doctor was unable to determine the due date without an ultrasound. The first ultrasound was amazing. Of course the baby was a little blob but it was a cute little blob with a heartbeat!! It truly is a life changing event when you see that very first ultrasound!

So here is the 8 week picture. Still not much of a change but I’m sure that will come in good time! I am still able to wear all of my clothes and have yet to gain a pound!

Future Baby Rose is a: Raspberry!
Baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs, and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.
