Week 13

Week 13- January 6, 2009

Happy New Year and welcome to my 13th week! I really have nothing to say but take a look at the picture. Seriously how can that much change happen in one week. I know you may say that you really don't look that different but I can tell!! I look fat!! But I know that it is a good fat but it still is fat!

I have been experiencing some crazy headaches these last couple of days. I did read that this is a symptom of pregnancy but I didn't realize that they could be so intense. Luckily the doctor said that is was okay to take Tylenol to help with the pain! I guess I couldn't get away with not having any bad side effects from this pregnancy.

Week 13 brings some crazy research online on baby rooms, strollers, car seats, bottles, etc. I really want to be as prepared as possible. Plus I figured get the research out of the way now before I really am not in the mood and uncomfortable!

Baby Rose is a: Peach!!

Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy. (Much more convenient.)

I know the baby is saving up all of the screaming for his/her birth-day!
