Week 15- January 20, 2010
This week brings a handful of new experiences:
1) Bloody Noses- I have never had a bloody nose before in my life but with in the last week I have had three of them. Crazy! Actually woke up last night at three am to use the washroom and my nose starting bleeding everywhere. What to do??
2) Maternity Clothes- So I gave in.... I finally bought two pairs of maternity pants. I just received them today and they really are not that bad. Thank God for The Gap! Not only are the jeans semi-stylish, they also come in long! I was worried that I would be stuck wearing floods through out this whole pregnancy!
3) I CAN'T BREATH- I read that it's pretty normal to feel like you can't breath at this stage of your pregnancy. Your body is growing so fast that all of your organs are getting pushed around. I guess it takes some time to get used to!
4) I told my 86 year old grandpa (Papa) that he was going to be a great-grandpa for the fourteenth time! Can you believe that! He could possibly be around to be a great-great grandpa if his oldest great-grandchild who is 18 has kids within the next couple of years!! Seriously amazing! If that is not an accomplishment, I don't know what is!
5) Ordered baby furniture- Well, we told my parents (who are so generous enough to buy us the furniture) which brand and style we liked. I can't wait to get them and start decorating the baby room!!
I think that's pretty much it for this week! Check out Week 15 picture. Belly is definitely getting bigger!

Baby Rose is a...... Naval Orange!!
Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.I seriously can not wait to feel the baby finally move! I think that will make it so much more real!!

Omg I can't believe your grandpa almost has 14 great grandbab8ies! Is that a record or something?! I love your baby updates and the photos - it'll def be something I look over again when we get PG! Have a great wknd little mommy!!

ReplyDeleteMelissa, You look great! I can finally (but barely) see your little bump! We are so excited for you and can't wait to hang out again. I love your blog and give you credit for starting it. It's something I've always wanted to do, so maybe it will be my inspiration.
Have a great week!
Sandi
