Week 16

Week 16- January 27, 2009

Sorry so late in posting this week. I have been traveling on business. Little Baby Rose went on his/her first plane ride to New York City!! I know Baby Rose will not remember this trip but it will be a fun memory to tell our child when they get older. Plus if he/she ever complains that they have never been to New York, I can prove that they have!!

This week has been pretty busy with work so really nothing new to report other than we went to our 16 week doctor apt on Tuesday. The doctor informed me that I have finally gained some weight (4 pounds) and that everything looks good! We finally got to hear the babies heart beat which came in around 140 bpm. So exciting to actually hear the heart beat!! Only 3 1/2 more weeks until we find out the sex! I have been to many baby stores hoping to find something cute to buy but it is way to hard without knowing the gender. They really don't make cute non-gender specific clothes. I guess I will just have to wait a couple more weeks.....

So here is the week 16 picture. Belly is starting to come in. Please ignore the over grown T-shirt. It is just so comfortable to wear plus I'm pregnant and I really don't care!!!

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender.
