Week 22 & 23

I have been so busy lately that posting has not been such a high priority. I made myself sit down last night and get myself all caught up. I decided to do Week 22 and 23 together since it is all kind a blur to me. I think the forgetfulness is really starting to take affect!!

So within the last few weeks we have finished, yes completely finished, little CJ's room!! All we need to do now is fill it with clothes and toys! Believe me when I say that he may have half a closet full of clothes already. Oops! I promised Jim that I would stop shopping for clothes since I still have my showers!

The back pain has increased and I actually went for a prenatal massage. The massage seemed to help a little bit but I was informed that I may need to go to a Chiropractor to have my back realigned. I am still on the fence about that but if it will get rid of the pain, I may just have to do it.

I also have noticed that getting up out of bed or from the couch takes a lot more effort than it did before! I can only imagine what it is going to be like when I am 30 some weeks along!

I still can't believe that we are 23 weeks along already! Time really does go by fast. Our little love bug will be here before we know it!! As I type he is kicking like crazy. I wonder if he knows that I am talking about him!!

Baby Rose is the size of a.......papaya! He will remain around this size from week 22-24. I guess they ran out of fruits and veggies to use each week!!

Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.
