5 Years Ago Today I Was….

A senior in College...Wow time really goes by fast!

I was thinking the other day how much my life has changed in the last 5 years. If you were to ask me 5 years ago what my life would have been like now, I don’t think I would have imagined it to be so great. Here are some major changes in the last 5 years in no specific order:

1) Met an amazing boy.

2) Dated an amazing boy

3) Got engaged to an amazing boy

4) Married an amazing boy

5) Got a real job

6) Still have that same real job (going on 5 years now)

7) Moved out of my parents house in the suburbs

8) Moved to the great city of Chicago

9) Rented a place in the GoldCoast (Chicago)

10) Rented a place in Lincoln Park (Chicago)

11) Practically lived with my bf/fiancé at the time in a 300 sq foot studio in Old Town (Chicago)- I really don’t miss this one!

12) Bought our first place in the West Loop (Chicago)

13) Adopted our puppy, Leo

14) Vacationed, Vacationed, Vacationed…. Nashville, Puerto Vallarta, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, Vegas, 2 ski trips in Wisconsin, Cabo San Lucas and Boston/Nantucket (Hopefully many more to come)

15) Ran my first 5K (If you know me, you know that I am not, let me repeat, I am not a runner)

16) Ran three more 5K’s

The list could go on and on but I touched on some of the major events. Hopefully the next five years will be just as amazing (with children I hope)!
