3 Months Old

Caden you are three months old! You have grown so much and have shown us such a personality these last few weeks! You are smiling more and more and moving around like crazy! Gone are the days that we can put in your swing without the belt around your waist. We have learned that you have to be strapped in or you will try and swindle your way out!

You are in 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers! What a big boy! We didn't have a doctors appointment this month (Thank God- You don't like those shots and either does Mommy) but I believe you weigh about 14-15 pounds! And by the way your clothes are fitting, I'm pretty sure you have grown an inch or two.

Sleeping- You are such a pro! You are sleeping from about 8:00-4:00 then going back down from 4:30-7:00. Some days you sleep less, some days you sleep more but we are only down to one feeding per night! This makes Mommy really happy because she has to go back to work in two weeks. You are still in Mommy and Daddy's room but you have been upgraded to the pack n' play since you have outgrown the cradle. Dad keeps saying that we need to move you to the crib in your room but Mom is just not ready for that! Maybe next week?!

Feedings- You still eat every two hours and when you have the bottle you eat about 4.5 ounces! We are trying to throw in a few bottles here and there so you start to get used to them when your nanny Gloria has to feed you when Mommy is at work.

Things You Love- You love to stand on Mommy and Daddy's lap and smile away! You get such a kick out of standing like a big boy! We just hope you wait a while to actually start walking. This Mommy is not ready for that yet! You love to lay under the jungle gym and kick the hanging toys! You are also starting to reach for the toys with your hands. The hand eye coordination is really starting to develop! You love it when Mommy and Daddy sing to you! I think you are really laughing at our horrible voices but that's okay because it makes you smile! You still love your swing! It puts you to sleep most of the time! You love, love, love to be outside! When you are cranky we put you in your stroller and go for a walk. The noises combined with the fresh air and new scenery calm you down in a second! Thank God we have had such nice weather for this time of year!

Things You Hate- Being Still!! You hate to sit on our laps unless you are really tired. Even then it is kind of struggle. I don't blame you but sometimes it gets really tiring for Mommy and Daddy to carry you around everywhere. Poor Gloria is going to have her hands full when she starts watching you! Other than this you are a very happy baby and we are so blessed to have you in our lives!

We tried to get you to smile in your three month pictures but you wouldn't look at the camera. So this is what we got (along with some other cute pictures)!
