So I finally made it to the eye doctor today for a well over due check up. I have been having such an issue with my eyes lately. They have been drying up, my contacts have been really uncomfortable and my glasses give me a huge headache. This appointment was also for a Lasik Consult. I have always thrown around the idea of getting Lasik eye surgery but have either been too scared to do so or the cost was too high.
The doctor ran a few tests today and confirmed that I am an excellent candidate for the surgery! Now the question is: 1) Do I want to do the surgery? What if I am that .0001% that goes blind?? 2) Do we have the money?? (They offer these great 0% interest deals so the money should not be an issue….)
Has anyone else had Lasik surgery? Were you happy with it? Was it worth the money?
I think I am going to do it but would love to hear other opinions!

ReplyDeleteI think after all the wedding hoopla I am going to look into financing it. I would love to wake up in the morning and be able to see the alarm clock.
I definitely want lasik... but not anytime soon. I am a big baby and too afraid that I won't be able to see anymore - or that in a few years something will happen and my vision will worsen. Someday I will put my big girl pants on though and walk into that office and get it done!
