Roses & Thorns

I have been following Kristen over at K.Law Inspired and love her idea of Roses & Thorns.

So here you go:

• Roses to my amazing husband for sending me flowers three time this week at work. Wednesday from Leo (yes, our dog), Thursday from him and today from my beautiful son for Mother's Day!


• Roses to my very first Mother's Day!


• Roses to our first trip as a family this weekend to the Zoo. Fingers crossed the weather holds up!


• Roses to taking off early from work today to go to the Cubs game! A much needed break!


• Roses to my brother for moving home from Uof I this past week. He has been down there for 8 years and is now finally home!


• Roses to my brother and his finance, Katie, on their new place! Can't wait to see it tomorrow!


• Roses to a nice weekend with my son! Can't wait to spend some quality time with him today!


• Roses to baby boy for being the best sleeper the last few weeks! Hopefully you can keep this up!


• Roses to my husband on his 28th birthday this past Tuesday! Can't wait to spend many more with you!

• Thorns to my husband leaving for the weekend! We will miss you!


• Thorns to the unexpected visitor in our kitchen yesterday..... let's just say he's ugly, black and gross.


• Thorns to my baby growing up way to fast. I really need to start taking more pictures.


• Thorns to a dirty house! I really need to clean.

It's nice to see that I have way more roses than thorns this week! Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!
