Week 28 & 29

Week 28- April 21, 2010 & Week 29- April 28, 2010

Yes, I know I am very behind in updating and you will be very disappointed that I don't have any pictures for this post. I will try and take one this weekend! Last week was a very exciting week for us and Baby CJ. We had our 28 week appointment last Wednesday and the doctor informed us that everything looks good!! The baby is even head down and ready to go. Cross your figures and hope that he doesn't move before the big day!

Last Friday we also had our 3d/4d ultrasound!! Wow.....it was so amazing how much you can see!! I have electronic photos so I will post soon. Jim and I have decided that he probably has my nose, jaw line and lips and he has Jim's ears. I know it's really too hard to tell but it's starting to become so real now that we saw him up close!! The ultrasound lasted about 30 minutes and it was so relaxing just watching my baby sleep away in my tummy. I know I will not be able to take my eyes off of him once he is here!

Not much has changed with my sleeping. I am still up at least 2 times a night and I am happy to say I am two weeks in without a nose bleed!! I'm really excited that we have our first baby shower in a few weeks. I'm starting to get anxious that we don't have a lot of things we need for when CJ comes home.

This post is really random but wanted to keep you all updated! Jim and I are going to Door County tonight for a long weekend! This is our final trip before the baby. We are also celebrating Jim's birthday while we are there as well! I know this birthday won't measure up to the Chicago bar parties we normally have but we have to be grownups this year ; )
