Week 26

Week 26- April 7, 2010

So I completely missed week 25 but I really don't think much has changed since then. All I know is that this whole pregnancy is going by so fast! This past week there has been a lot of kicking. I mean you can actually see my stomach moving through my shirt. Pretty Crazy if you ask me!! I also am starting to feel the braxton hicks contractions. Nothing painful but just a little uncomfortable. My stomach all of sudden gets really tight and hard for about 10 seconds and then goes away. In fact as I am typing right now it is happening. It seems to happen more when I am sitting so more when I am at work. This week we also showed off the room in our family! Everyone is really getting excited for CJ to get here! Also, the more and more I see my niece, Kennedy, the more and more I want our little boy to be here!!

Just so you guys can see really how big I have gotten. I have attached a picture below of when I was 12 weeks and then one now at 26 weeks. Funny to think that I thought I was getting big then!!
Week 12

Week 26

According to thebump.com baby CJ is an......eggplant. He will be about this size for the next few weeks until I reach week 28.

Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.

I can totally relate to having a niece around, she gives me the worst baby fever!!
