Weekend Recap

Wow....what a busy weekend! I'm still tired from all of the craziness! Here's a recap for your reading pleasure!

Thursday Night- After work Jim and I went to his first Christmas company party with his new employer. The event was held at Carnivale in the West Loop of the city. If you are from Chicago, you know how cool this venue is!!It really is a huge step up from any Christmas party I have ever been to with my company. My party (no guests invited) is in our cafeteria from 3-5pm with free beer and wine. It's pretty lame but I guess I can't complain. I know so many companys that are not even throwing parties this year because of the economy.

Friday Night- We went to The Fray concert at the Auditorium Theater in the loop. Have I ever told you how much I love The Fray?!?! This was my third time seeing them in concert. Not only did we get to see The Fray, we also saw, Chris Allen (American Idol winner from last year) and Colbie Caillat. The concert was amazing! Since the theater was so small, it felt like we were up close and personal with the performers!

Saturday- I spent most of the day on Saturday with my mom at the One of a Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart. We make this show every year! It's great because all the local and non-local artists off all kinds are there to show/sell their work. The show has anything from art, to sculptures, to jewelry, to clothes, to food, to wine, etc. It's always fun to see how creative people are since I obviously lack in that area! I found a great artist from Nashville that is going to send me a print of one of her paintings. I can't wait to show you once I receive it!

Sunday- LAZY DAY! I deserved it after the last couple of days!
