Well, last weekend we made the decission that it was time to look for a new car. My car is still in great shape and only 5 years old but it seriously is the worst car ever in the snow! Jim and I have been doing some research online and decided that a used crossover was the way to go. You really can't buy a new car and live in the city at the same time. It really does not make sense.
We ended up finding the perfect car! So on Saturday we went to the dealership to test drive the car. Let me say that we had no intention of walking away with the car but guess what....WE DID!! I think we are crazy!!
So here is our new (used) car. We could not be happier! And we got a great deal! Let's just hope that with buying a used car we don't have all of the issues that go along with it.

Also, this weekend we made the decission that it was finally time to break the news to Leo that he will no longer be sleeping in our bed with us. This was a hard decission on my part but something that had to be done. He is a very restless sleeper and seriously keeps us up most nights. So on Saturday we bought him the most comfortable dog bed we could find!
Let me say that he loves the bed but does not love the fact that he can't crawl into bed with us anymore. I feel so sad for him but it is the best decission for everyone involved. So needless to say the last couple of nights have been brutal. He tries all night to climb on the bed, he wines, he barks and scratchs. The only way we can get him to sleep on the bed is if Jim lays on the ground next to him. Do I not have the best husband ever?? He is so great with Leo. He has slept next to the dog bed for the last two nights to make Leo feel loved! I know one day Jim will seriously be the best dad ever!
Does anyone else have any other ideas of how to break your dog from sleeping in your bed? I am open to anything at this point!

Love the car. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteBella is a bed lifer. She has been there since the 3rd day we had her. She is very good in bed. She is a heavy sleeper and wakes us up when she has to go usually once per night if ever. The only down side, she HAS to sleep right in the middle of us!
