Not a Good Monday

Everyone hates Mondays! Everyone hates gloomy Mondays! Everyone hates gloomy rainy Mondays!

So yesterday didn't go quite the way we planned it! Let's just say the day started off with zero sleep since Caden decided that he wanted to cry all night. Then we are running late and I didn't get my coffee fix until mid-afternoon. And then worst news of all came.....Our nanny quit......

Yes, she needed more hours and we couldn't give them to her. The worst part is that she only gave us ONE week to find someone to replace her.

Don't get me wrong, I love our nanny. She is so good with our kids and she loves them more than anything in the whole entire world. She would do anything for them! I understand that she needs more money to support her family and that she really didn't want to leave us but she had no choice. I just wish we had more time. We are now stuck with trying to find someone last minute and I don't feel comfortable with hiring someone so fast.

Caden is my everything and I really want him to have a great caretaker if it can't be me. I hate that I am going to go through the first day back at work jitters all over again. Is my child being taken care of properly? Does he like the new nanny? Is he having fun? Is he scared that there is a new person taking care of him?

We have a good lead on a person and we are going to interview her on Wednesday. Let's all cross our fingers and hope that she works out because we really do not have a back up plan.
