Week 33- May 26, 2010
Bring on the belly......seriously as soon as I think the belly can't get any bigger, it does!! I really feel like I am getting close to the end and am patiently (not really patiently, more like 'baby you can come any time now') waiting for CJ to make his grand entrance. Everyone keeps asking me if I am nervous or anxious but really, I'm neither. I think right now I am excited more than anything. I have been carrying our little man for 8 months now and I can't wait to finally meet the little guy. I can't wait to feel the instant 'fall in love' moment when he is born. I'm not scared of the birthing process because I know I am in good hands with the doctors and God.
Last weekend my wonderful mother with the help of my fantastic sister through us a baby shower!! It was so nice. My mom (with my sisters help) went all out with the games, food, china settings, diaper cake and her very thoughtful speech before lunch.
We are so blessed to have so many loving friends and family members that were able to make it and shower our little one with lots of presents. I mean seriously, we got so much!! Did I tell you that we still have Jim's mom's shower in two weeks. I really don't know where we are going to fit everything in our house!!
I can say that our little man is going to be the best dressed baby on the block. He got so many cute clothes!! As soon as I get the room cleaned up and things put together, I will have to take some pictures so you all can see how much he got!!
This past week has brought on the very swollen feet and the start of getting uncomfortable. This belly is just in the way of everything!! I feel that it is hard to breath at times but they say once the belly drops there is instant relief! I can't wait for that to happen!! This week has also really put my nesting into full force. I keep going over in my head the things we need to get done before he arrives. Good thing we have a really long weekend to start chipping at the list!
Well, you've waited long enough....Here is the week 33 picture! I hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend!

I am looking forward to you shower next weekend!!! You look great!!
ReplyDeleteYou look SO cute...hang in there mama!
ReplyDeleteMy only advice for labor is "just go with the flow" it really is in the hands of the doctors and God so do your best on living in the moment...it's amazing!
I'm so excited for you guys! We are going to miss you at the lake!
